OVERVIEW

TES America is one of the world’s leading interactive human-machine interface solution provider. In 2021, TES America acquired assets from 3M® TouchSystems, most notably MicroTouch.

With the asset acquisition, MicroTouch’s vision was renewed, its imagery rebranded, and the product line was expanded.

MicroTouch is a West Michigan-based company that was looking for local capable companies to help with its renewed operations in the USA. MicroTouch was looking for a multifaceted partner who could help with inventory management, inbound/outbound logistics, and volume order software configurations. A transition would not be made without plenty of due diligence.

Initially, Supply Source Options was contracted to do a software update on 500 computer units. MicroTouch wanted to ensure our team was capable of quick quality work, accurate serial number tracking, and handling large volume orders.

As of today S2O is the exclusive North American value add configuration partner.

Supply Source Options leveraged its seasoned workforce and solution-based management to work through the software updates efficiently, quickly, and error-free.

After the successful initial program , S2O was provided additional software and hardware configuration projects Increased demand for customized MicroTouch solutions, has led to continued expansion and capabilities by S2O to service this growing segment of their business.

With time value add capabilities that MicroTouch could offer its customers grew drastically as tailored solutions could be configured to individual customers quickly and effectively, providing a significant competitive advantage.

RESULTS

As MicroTouch growth took off, so did the need for additional types of value add services, inventory management, and serial number tracking.

S2O was happy to grow alongside MicroTouch. S2O gained additional competencies from MicroTouch that helped S2O achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification and widen its inventory management logistical offerings. A true win-win situation.

MicroTouch continued to leverage its significant competitive advantage in flexibility, scalability, and lean manufacturing expenses. S2O now manages a large percentage of MicroTouch’s North America inventory, inventory tracking, and value add processes
